From Malia Mullins May 14th, Saturday evening:
This is from tonight's hip hop concert. Michael, Jamelle and Jenna Mullins and Kassie Stuehler all participated. Their dance studio, The Vault, was raising money for a local family. Four year old Calum Campbell has been fighting cancer. Between last night and tonight they raised over $17,000 to help with Calum's medical bills! #courageforcalum. Malia also send a video; this group is fantastic!!!
Michael Mullins and Kassie Stuehler are standing in the back, back to back, and Jamelle Mullins is on the far left with her arms extended toward the group!
Jenna Mullins was in a different group, but see her below!
Also from Malia: This was a big weekend for the girls... Jamelle and Jenna Mullins; they also competed in the Southern Utah Regional Track Meet.
Jamelle took 1st (11/12 year olds) in the Softball Throw. She threw her personal best at 117 feet and she took 2nd in the Shot Put (13/14 year old). This qualifies her to compete at the state level up in Orem in June.
Jenna competed for the time this year in the 50 meter dash and had a great time running.
Hart Baresco, daughter of the late Christine Baresco, is also graduating from High School this spring. She is a championship swimmer and qualified to go to State!
Please take a moment when you see these young people and let them know YOU know of their accomplishments. We don't praise others enough; who knows? A compliment may just be what they need to keep putting one foot in front of the other!!!
