The Webb twins, Carter and Holland
were presented and advanced to the office of teachers in the Aaronic Priesthood. They both bore their testimonies.

Our youth speaker today was George Lamb
and his subject was on tithing. He told us that paying tithing is the sacred thing to do; that in 1929 president Heber J. Grant told his people to be honest with the Lord and the payment of tithing would open the windows of heaven. This was especially true during the depression that those who paid tithing had more to live on.

Ashley Wilkes
of the seventh ward who just recently returned from her mission in Salem, Oregon, spoke to us about the Holy Ghost. She loved having the spirit with her all the time as she served a mission. She said we have to ask, seek and knock and we need to desire to have the Holy Ghost. She also told us that although there were no cell phones or iPads or anything on her mission that there were still a lot of distractions and that sometimes while tracting they just had to stop & pray to clear their minds so the Holy Ghost could be with them. She left a quote with us. "Know ye not that ye are in the hands of God and he has all power? "

Musical Number: piano solo  by Gage Parenti!!
"I need the every hour."  What a wonderful treat!

High Councilman Mike Capik
also spoke on the Holy Ghost. Having the Holy Ghost is a gift and we have to be worthy to have him with us at all times. He told us that Elder Neil Anderson said that we have to learn to be comfortable with the unseen.
Elder Richard G Scott used to keep a little notepad by his bed during the night as he would wake up with promptings. He would write them down and in the morning he would pray about the prompting and then he would pray about it again and would receive additional revelation.
Elder Bednar told The missionaries at the MTC that when they have a thought it is from the Holy Ghost.
To hold onto the Holy Ghost you may have to pray more earnestly and combine faith and works and righteous living and scripture study.
We need to be grateful for the Holy Ghost and continue to grow line upon line.

Benediction: Randy Webb
